TamesideConnect is the single online connected network website for Tameside, it's aim is to connect together all of Tameside's online community website's. TamesideConnect's aims and objectives within the community are listed below.

• Connect all TamesideConnect websites.
• Connect all local community and business web sites from the Tameside area.
• Provide information to the community, either directly or by providing such in the sites of TamesideConnect.
• Provide community web site's to the parts of Tameside which are yet to have one created/setup.
• Provide opportunities to members of the community who wish to expand their knowledge by joining the WebTeam.
• Eventually provide a unified login system for all the sites directly connected to TamesideConnect.
• Promote knowledge and learning within the Tameside area, and to provide learning activities where any chance arise.

TamesideConnect is however run and maintained by individuals in their spare time and is in no way funded or associated with Tameside Council or any government body; all funding and work is done my individual volunteers from the community.
